Eligibility Criteria
We seek impactful research, science and nature-based solutions that meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Domain – Solutions must operate within the field of regenerative agriculture, advancing climate-resilient and sustainable farming practices.
- Applicants Profile – Open to researchers and innovators seeking to develop their work to proof-of-concept stage, with a focus on acquiring the business and entrepreneurship capabilities required to scale and secure funding.
- Solutions – Must be grounded in research, science, or nature-based innovation. Both process and technological innovations are eligible to apply.
- Relevance to the MENA Region
All applications must directly address food system challenges within the Middle East and North Africa, including:
– Climate change adaptation and mitigation
– Soil health restoration and combating desertification
– Carbon farming and sequestration
– Biodiversity enhancement
– Food and water security
– Farmer support and livelihoods
- Geographic Scope
This programme is open to applicants worldwide*.
Eligibility is determined by the proposed solution’s ability to address agricultural conditions and opportunities within the MENA region.
