Apostle Philemon Okoh Agyemang, the Founder and Leader of the Living Yahweh 7Th Day Sabbath Assemblies has called on the government to create incentive packages to encourage the youth into agriculture.

Apostle Okoh Agyemang made the call in an interview with the media when the church ended its 2026 Passover Feast and Charity Show on Sunday at Odorgonnor High School at Anyaa in Accra.
He said the district assemblies should be made to create avenues for the youth to get some financial support to enable them to venture into agriculture while the government liaise with the chiefs to release lands for farming purposes instead of estate development.
He suggested the creation of agricultural units in the security services to engage the teeming youth who are interested in wearing the service uniforms to get job opportunities for farming.
“This would make the youth feel proud in the uniform while working as a farmer in the service,” he stressed.
Speaking on the charity show, he stated that the event is held twice – tied to Passover Feast and Atonement Day in every year by the church to donate food and aiding items to institutions and the vulnerable in society.
Apostle Okoh Agyemang appealed to churches to come together to show such love to the less privileged as stated in the Bible.
He said James 1:27, states; “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
Apostle Okoh Agyemang in a welcoming address read on his behalf said this year’s Passover Feast and Charity Show benefitted over 5,432 applicants who received various items estimated at GHc1,451,413.00.
The items included 5,500 pieces of cloths, 1,200 pieces of tubers of yams, 2000 packs of toilet rolls, and 70 wheelchairs, while 500 bags of rice, 700 bags of maize, 500 crates of eggs, and 800 birds (brollers), all from the church’s farms.
He said aside the donations the church also fed about 2,000 less privileged, especially foreigners hawking on the streets of Accra.
“This initiative represents one of our core heartbeats of the Passover Feast and our calling – a profound expression of compassion, service, and our shared commitment to humanity,” he stated.
The occasion was used to honour a great Ghanaian legendary highlife musician and a retired public servant known in music circles as Pozo Hayes, but his real name is Nana Boakye Ofori Atta.
A citation he received read, “Through your life and music, you have helped secure the genre’s legacy as a symbol of unity, identity, and national pride, leaving behind an indelible mark on Ghana’s cultural landscape.
“Despite being virtually grounded by polio at age three, you were a cheerful child and did not allow the handicap to undermine your happiness.”
It continued, “You have indeed distinguished yourself and you are an inspiration to the upcoming generation.
“His Eminence Apostle Dr. Philemon Okoh Agyemang, the Executive Board, and Management of Living Yahweh 7th Day Sabbath Assemblies bestow on you this special honour and award for your distinguished music career and ability to excel in life despite your handicap. Ayekoo! You have really served Elohim Yahweh and country.”
Pozo Hayes also received a Kente cloth and an undisclosed cash from the Founder and the Leader of the church. The occasion was graced by Nii Chabukwei, Chief of Anyaa and his elders.
