Call for Proposals: FO4IMPACT (Latin American and the Caribbean)

This Call for Proposals aims to select, through a competitive process, one or two organizations to co-develop and implement the regional grant “FO4IMPACT: FOs for Institutional Strengthening, Market Access, Policy Engagement, Advocacy, Community, and Transformation” in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

The selected recipient(s) must be Farmers’ Organizations (FOs) legally registered in an IFAD Member State and operating regionally or across multiple countries. Applications may be submitted individually by one FO or jointly as a consortium led by a regional or multi-country FO. The consortium may also include other legally registered non-profit entities, such as civil society organizations and NGOs.

The objective of the grant is to promote inclusive, sustainable, and climate-resilient agricultural value chains, and to strengthen the capacity of FOs to deliver services to smallholder farmers, engage in evidence-based policy dialogue, and improve governance, transparency, and inclusiveness.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate at least five years of experience working with smallholder farmers and FOs in the region, as well as capacity in areas such as institutional strengthening, market access, policy engagement, and service delivery. A co-financing contribution of at least 20% (cash and/or in-kind) is recommended.
