In eastern Paraguay, Indigenous Peoples and rural women are turning forest care into a source of strength and income.
Through PROEZA, social protection and climate action work hand in hand to help families restore forests, plant crops and native trees, and secure their livelihoods. In the Indigenous Peoples communities of Y’aka Poty and Fortuna, women like Teodora and Elva show how caring for the land can fight climate change, reduce poverty and keep traditions alive.
