AI by HER- The Impact Challenge for Women in AI is a global innovation challenge inviting women technologists to showcase AI solutions tackling real-world public challenges. Focused on inclusive innovation and global impact, this initiative promotes gender equity, Global South innovation, and scalable AI-for-good applications, aligning with the India-AI Impact Summit’s “Impact” mantra. Winners receive funding and travel support to present at the India-AI Impact Summit, along with mentorship and pitch training.
Set to culminate at the AI Impact Summit in February 2026, this global challenge invites women innovators worldwide to propose solutions that can translate AI innovations into tangible outcomes. Selected innovators will benefit from significant global visibility, access to funding opportunities, structured mentorship, and the chance to showcase their solutions at a prestigious global forum attended by policymakers, investors, and industry leaders.

- Awards of INR 25,00,000 to each of the top 10 winners and potential incentives such as cloud and compute credits
- Top finalists (upto 30) receive travel and accommodation support to participate in the India-AI Impact Summit in New Delhi for global visibility, investor connections and networking opportunities. A separate Investor Pitch Session will be curated for such high-potential women-led AI solutions.
- Mentorship from industry experts on business strategy, pitch readiness etc.
- Recognition of the top solutions in the AI Innovation Compendium and potential mentorship from premier institutions to enable real-world deployment and scaling
- Applicants must be women-led teams or entities building innovative and impactful AI centric solutions addressing real-world challenges
- The company /startup/consortium is led by a woman or a woman is in a key decision-making role and leadership position (CEO, CTO, COO). Or the core applying team includes at least one woman as technical lead, product lead, or business lead.
- Up to three members At least two team members who could represent the shortlisted AI solution during the Summit, presentations, and evaluations must be women.
