Ahodwo Farms in partnership with Mawu Klenam Foundation, has recently provided a generous donation to 30 women from the Manya, Tesanya, and Konopiem communities in the Asuogyaman District.
Among these women were widows, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. The donation comprised essential items such as diapers, Bags of washing soaps, Boxes of Dettol, bags of rice, packs of vegetable bottled oil, and toothpastes.
Prior to distributing these items, the founder Edna Oliver Asare of Mawu Klenam Foundation expressed her admiration for the hard work and resilience displayed by women and mothers, which had deeply touched her heart.
She emphasized the importance of supporting and encouraging these women, who are making concerted efforts to care for themselves and their families.
Mr. Kofi Ansah, the CEO of Ahodwo Farms, also expressed his appreciation and concern for being part of this worthy cause.
He pledged to provide job opportunities and accommodation for women under Mawu Klenam Foundation’s support programs who needed help in securing jobs on his farm.
The community health nurse, Madam Okyere of Tortibo Chps, expressed her gratitude and blessed the donors for their generosity. The women present were overwhelmed with joy upon receiving their packages of support items.
This collaboration between Ahodwo Farms and Mawu Klenam Foundation underscores the significance of supporting and empowering women, particularly those facing challenges.
