Eligibility
- Legal Entity Status and Proofs:
We support registered NGOs and Foundations, Social Impact Businesses, (Academic) Research Institutions, Activists, and Grassroots Collectives.
• Mandatory Proof: NGOs and Foundations must provide official documentation of their „Gemeinwohl“ (Tax-exempt / Public Interest status) from their local tax authorities. Social Impact Businesses need to provide proof of their impact.
• Age Requirement: Individual activists and project leads must be 18 years or older at the time of application
3. Banking and Finance:
• Account Type: You must have a formal bank account in the legal name of the organization. To ensure security and transparency, we do not transfer funds to private individual bank accounts.
• International Transfers: Your account must be capable of receiving international SWIFT/IBAN transfers. We cannot process payments via PayPal, Western Union, or other third-party providers.
• Currency and Fees: All grants are transferred in EUR. Any currency conversion fees, intermediary bank fees, or local receiving fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient and will not be covered by GOT BAG.
• Tax Responsibility: GOT BAG does not assume local tax liabilities; organizations are responsible for their own local tax compliance and reporting.
4. Language:
The primary point of contact must be comfortable communicating and reporting in English.
5. Compliance:
All partners will be screened against global „watchlists“ (sanctions/block lists) to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and anti-terror regulations.
