RMI’s Global Women in Clean Energy Fellowship is now accepting applications from women professionals in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Zambia. This fellowship is designed to empower emerging leaders with the skills, networks, and resources needed to drive the clean energy transition in their countries and beyond.

Global Women in Clean Energy Fellowship for women professionalsLaunched by RMI’s Energy Transition Academy (ETA), the fellowship supports women leaders in the Global South to grow their technical, leadership, and strategic capacities in clean energy. The inaugural cohort—delivered in partnership with local and global actors, including AMP—will kick off in June 2025.

  • Technical Training on distributed energy resources and local business models
  • Project Management skills, including risk mitigation, procurement, and finance
  • Group Mentorship with women energy leaders from across sectors
  • Peer Networking with other passionate women across the region
  • Capstone Project to develop a clean energy policy, initiative, or strategy in your country
Eligibility

They looking for early to mid-career women who:

  • Are currently working on clean energy projects or policies in Nigeria, Ethiopia, or Zambia
  • Are passionate about leadership, innovation, and social impact in the energy space
  • Want to grow their network and drive meaningful change in their communities
