Postharvest Innovation Challenge is a special program designed to transform your business ideas into sustainable enterprise and your chance to grow, innovate and make an impact.
This challenge is a component of the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Horticulture. funded project: “Enhancing the Production and Consumption of African Indigenous Fruits and Vegetables to Improve Diets in Ghana and Mali” (ECo-Inveg) implemented by the University of Ghana, Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa – FARA and YPARD.
Program Includes
A one week intensive in person training in Accra and three weeks of virtual support.

Eligibility
- Ghanaian – Owned Businesses: At least one (1) year in business.
- Focus on indigenous Fruits and Veggies: Improving the production, processing, packing or marketing of indigenous/neglected and underutilized crops in Ghana
- Location: Based in any of the 16 regions of Ghana
- Feasibility: Can your business idea be practically implemented with available resources?
Preference is given to women and young entrepreneurs and business that empower women or youth and promote equality.
