The flagship partnership is directly complementing China’s efforts at further revitalising its rural areas. The programme is set to create a business case for farmers to help them improve their livelihood, reduce their environmental footprint and establish social equality. Each of these facets is being addressed through an elaborate programme focused on promoting good agricultural practices, improving market access and enabling policy environment.
