This training is being organized by the Centre for Green Growth emanating from the Global Centre for Adaptation and Care International “Toolkit for Youth on Adaptation & Leadership”.
The aim is to equip the youth with the right set of skills and knowledge to engage in climate adaptation action, policy and advocacy while paying particular attention to the needs of vulnerable groups in society.
The training will cover the various spheres of climate adaptation and the opportunities to bring out solutions to adapt local communities and vulnerable groups.
The in-person training will be held in Accra, Ghana in February 2025. Slots are available for only 30 participants.
Benefit
The participant with the best mini adaptation project idea will receive seed funding of $500 to implement the mini project idea.

I am Hon. Emmanuel Woode from Kade constituency. For over ten years, l donste seedlings to the Kade Firestry commission for planting. I raise the seedlings myself and plant along streets, school compounds, water bodies and on individual farms as part of my personal contribution to the fight against climate change. As l type right now, l have gathered over twenty thousand seeds, polybags and started land preparation for my nursery.
