The commodities are sold on the local market, and the proceeds are used to support agricultural development activities.

Objectives:

  • Increase agricultural productivity
  • Expand agricultural trade
  • Improve access to modern markets, technologies, and production inputs

Funding:

  • Total program funding: approximately $208 million
  • Individual awards: $5 million to $35 million
  • No cost-sharing required

Eligibility:

  • Government agencies
  • Intergovernmental or private organizations
  • NGOs
  • Universities
  • Cooperatives
  • Other private sector partners involved in agricultural development

  • Kenya
  • Colombia
