Our food depends on a multitude of species and ecosystems, and on a wide range of within-species genetic diversity. But right now this biodiversity is in crisis – because of us. Through the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture, the global community of states aims to ensure that future generations will be well equipped to face the challenges of tomorrow.
