The Agri-Finance Lab is a hands-on capacity-building and innovation training designed to enable participants to gain insights on agricultural finance and MSME finance that facilitate the co-creation of the next generation of financial instruments for agri-MSMEs in Ethiopia.
The lab centers upon a financial instrument development session, which is part of a competitive scheme, where a total of 20.000 EUR (ca. 1.200.000 Br) is awarded to support the pilot of the best solution(s) to provide finance to agri-MSMEs.
The lab is co-funded by the European Union within the framework of the BIC Ethiopia project. BIC Ethiopia supports Ethiopia’s incubation ecosystem including incubators, MSMEs, and financial actors. You can find more information on the project online. The training and innovation Lab is implemented by the project partner adelphi. Participation is free of charge for selected teams.
How to Apply
You are allowed to register in teams of 3 to 5 members. Individual registrations may also be accepted, however, those individuals would join the prototyping session as advisors who will be allocated to support solution development teams.
