Day 1 of the maiden edition of the Ghana Action Forum successfully brought together various stakeholders, such as government agencies and entrepreneurs, under the theme “Bridging Home and Abroad for Ghana’s Development”.

Speaking during a panel discussion on Trade, Investment and SMEs, Mr. Yaw Afriyie, the Deputy CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, encouraged those in the diaspora to identify prospects in Ghana and make good use of the opportunities available. He also shed light on the GIPC’s readiness to assist diasporans seeking to start a business in Ghana, through the Centre’s Diaspora Investment Desk.
