According to data from Nigeria’s Ministry of Agriculture, Nigeria is the third highest exporter of ginger globally. Nigeria’s ginger production is put at 31 million metric tons while demand is estimated at 65 million metric tons, leaving a gap of 34 million metric tons.
With a high demand deficit, ginger remains one profitable commodity for investors in 2022.
